Vineyard and tasting room in Luray Va exclusively featuring wines aged and bottled at Barren Ridge Vineyards

We are a wine tasting room and vineyard located north of Luray Va in Page County Va. We exclusively offer wines aged and bottled by Barren Ridge Vineyards. This joint venture of R. Steven Davis (Uncle) and Jeremy A. McCoy (nephew) has come together after a few years of trial and error and many hours of hard work.  Castle Vineyards  in Luray gets it's name from our Father/Grandfather Ralph Castle Davis, a local businessman and farmer. Our vineyard is growing on our working cattle farm, where we have a cow/calf operation of  approximately 35 head of Angus cattle. We are currently growing Cabernet Franc and Vidal Blanc with  plans to expand and plant additional vines in the Spring of 2019.

    Winery Review: Paradise Springs

When I am in the mood for good wine but not in the mood to drive, Paradise Springs is my answer. Not only is it close to DC (it's actually the closest winery to DC), but the wines are extraordinary! In fact, five of their wines won gold...
