at Adventure Farm

Adventure Farm Tasting Room provides a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, Blue Ridge Mountain views, with 100% estate grown wine, weekly music and food events in season, in a child and dog-friendly setting.

We are conveniently located near Route 29 and Charlottesville. The farm is family owned and operated since 1950. In addition to grapes (Chardonnay, Viognier, Chambourcin, Petit Verdot, Tannat, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon), beef cattle, hogs, chickens, ducks and crops (hay and pumpkins) are produced on the farm.

The Tasting Room & Farm Shop, the Pavilion and Patios offer gardens and a pretty landscaped lake, rolling pastures and an expansive Blue Ridge Mountain view. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful natural setting with a picnic of our wine, local cheeses & salami. Friday evenings (with Food Trucks) and Sunday afternoons are wonderful times to listen to live music. Other special events are held throughout the year, check our event page at adventurefarm.net.

The Farm offers small lot wines of superior quality made with 100% estate grown fruit. In addition, the premium beef is available for purchase in the shop and is hormone and antibiotic free, grass fed and grain finished on open pastures. We also sell seasonal goods including pumpkins, Christmas trees and turkeys.
Adventure Farm welcomes you to unique farm and vineyard experience and to see the pride we take in our wine and heritage.

What is Meritage?

    Winery Review: Paradise Springs

When I am in the mood for good wine but not in the mood to drive, Paradise Springs is my answer. Not only is it close to DC (it's actually the closest winery to DC), but the wines are extraordinary! In fact, five of their wines won gold...
