Color: beautiful dusky red with a hint of purple and glints of terracotta Nose: round nose with aromas of cherry, plum, ripe peppers, mint, walnut, hazelnut, truffle, and graphite. Mouth: beautiful attack, long mouthfeel, full volume, mature tannins, pleasant and soft with a note of aniseed on the finish.

Our 2016 Cabernet was blended with a small amount of Petit Verdot to give some additional structure. With less alcohol, less oak and more dark fruit intensity than in previous vintages this wine will drink better throughout the year and will pair well with a variety of foods.

The planting originated in 2004 with Vidal Blanc, Petit Verdot and Zinfandel varieties. Expansion began with Albarino, Malbec, Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon.
