Wine Education & Exploration- Rose at DuCard Vineyards
DuCard Vineyards
Back by popular demand, we will explore the wide world of rosé wines! Rosé is the herald of warm weather, a staple for summer suppers and sipping on a sandy beach. While this is true, we argue that Rosé is so much more than that. Join us to find out why.
Thanks to its trendy pink hue and reputation as a day drinking staple, Rosé has seen a surge in popularity in recent years. Although this pink wine has become the go-to summertime drink for social media influencers, it’s actually one of the oldest types of wines ever made. Rosé isn’t specific to any particular grape variety, it’s more like a genre. Colors and flavors vary. It can be bone-dry and crisp or fruity and sweet. Some can even age. Let’s take a deep dive into a wine that’s more complex than its reputation suggests.
The event will begin at 3:00 pm. Small bites will accompany the wines, and wines will be available for purchase at the end of the session.
General Public Session price: $75 per person (Wine Club discounts apply, Email Beth for WC reservations), advance reservation required, and space is limited.

If you are a member of Virginia Women in Wine, we are holding a special session of the event just for you starting at 12:00 pm. Please go to the Virginia Women in Wine site to purchase tickets. https://virginiawomeninwine.com/event/vww-session-wine-exploration-and-education-rose/
