Bluestone Vineyard
/ Categories: Event

As a grape grower and winemaker, Lee Hartman is excited to make a large variety of different wines using many different techniques. But as a wine consumer, none of this is enough. He wants to see what different winemakers are doing as well. In a new event series, we are inviting guest winemakers to our tasting room to learn about what they are doing. Come have a flight and hear their stories about where the grapes are grown, how the wines are made, where else in the world they've worked, and go home with some bottles that are only available in our tasting room for one night only.

For our fourth round of this event, our guests are brothers Ben (Lightwell) and Tim Jordan (Midland). Ben Jordan previously held the position of GM and Winemaker with Michael Shaps Wineworks. He now oversees all aspects of winemaking, vineyards, and production at Early Mountain Vineyard while being a partner in a smaller label of Lightwell Survey that is wine made from the Shenandoah Valley. Tim Jordan has risen from a cellar rat to vineyard manager to head winemaker. He is now  vine-to-wine consultant while tending to his family wine project, Midland Construction.
