Experience Virginia, Indian Style

Narmada Winery is located in scenic Rappahannock County, VA, just one hour west of Washington, DC. Shenandoah National Park and Luray Caverns are nearby attractions.

Owners Pandit and Sudha Patil have created a space reminiscent of their home country of India that is both exotic and welcoming. The winery is named after Pandit’s mother Narmada. Narmada Winery’s signature white wine MOM is a tribute to her and to all devoted and loving moms around the world.

At Narmada Winery, the goal is to make outstanding wines with Virginia grapes. The winery offers a selection of tasting flights, each with a slightly different flavor profile. Reds, whites, rosés, and dessert wines - there is something to please every palate!

2017 Narmada Merlot

Narmada Winery

Vibrant garnet color with nose of spice, cherry and well-seasoned oak. Lively black cherry and sultry spice flavors meld harmoniously with delicately-styled notes of dark chocolate, clove and coffee that resonate through the lengthy finish.

2017 Narmada Yash Vir

Classic Bordeaux Blend

Narmada Yash-Vir 2017 is made with the classic Bordeaux grapes: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. It is a compelling wine, rich mahogany in color with evocative aromas of black fruits and cedar.

2019 Narmada MOM

Narmada Winery Signature Wine

Estate Grown grapes. Signature wine for Narmada! Stainless steel fermented. The blend is usually of Vidal Blanc and Chardonel. 2019 we have added a bit of Traminette to it so you may pick up some floral notes and a little spice! A nice crisp wine with great acidity. Everyone's favorite wine to pair with Spicey Indian and Thai food as well as just enjoyed by the glass!

2019 Narmada Viognier

Aromas of roasted nuts and peaches and melon and kiwi

Silvery emerald straw color. Toasty aromas and flavors of roasted nuts and peaches and melon and kiwi with a silky, bright, fruity medium body and a smooth, charming, long lemon curd and green apple sorbet, praline, and wheat grass finish with no oak.
