** RESCHEDULED TO OCTOBER 27th DUE TO HURRICANE FLORENCE **  The 9th Annual Lynchburg Beer and Wine Festival will take place in Lynchburg, Virginia at the Lynchburg City Stadium drawing in over 3,000 guests to the Hill City for this one day event.  Voted Best Festival by Lynchburg Living Magazine, the Lynchburg Beer and Wine Festival will feature over 9 area wineries are on hand with samples of their finest Virginia wines.  Breweries from the state and beyond will have craft ales and lagers on tap.

Artisans and crafters from around the state display their goods while area businesses are represented to feature their newest line of products.

Food vendors galore line the perimeter of the festival park with barbecue, ribs, wings and crab cakes.  You will also find the all American favorites of hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza, ribbon fries and funnel cakes.  This year we are excited to add Mediterranean, Greek and Italian cuisine.  There will be something to tempt every pallet.

Shenandoah Uncorked returns November 10, 2018! This will be the 9th year for this family friendly wine festival, and it gets better year after year. For the first time ever the festival will be moved INDOORS to American Celebration on Parade, right across the street from the Yellow Barn. All wine and craft vendors will be inside our 40,000 sq ft building. Food trucks will be right out the front door, with both indoor and outdoor seating areas to enjoy your delicious meal.

Admission is free. Wine Tasting is just $15 and includes a souvenir wine glass. Uncorked will feature more than 10 Virginia Wineries, plus food, fine crafts and local agricultural displays including Antique Tractors. FREE kids events and activities include mini Barrel Train rides, Magic Shows and Pedal Tractor Races!  Festival attendees also receive a special discount to see Shenandoah Caverns Family of Attractions on November 10. There's something for everyone at Shenandoah Uncorked!

Eat, drink, shop and explore a piece of American history when the Thomas Jefferson Wine Festival returns to Poplar Forest. The festival, which celebrates Jefferson’s legacy as the father of Virginia Wine, features tastings from over a dozen of Virginia’s finest wineries. Funds raised by the festival support the ongoing restoration and preservation of the Founding Father’s secluded Bedford County retreat.

Jefferson VIP Wine Festival passes—which include access to a private tent, heavy hors d’oeuvres, a private audience with Mr. Jefferson himself, a special tasting and more—and general admission tickets, which include tastings and a complimentary Poplar Forest wine glass, will be available for purchase online after September 1, 2018

This event kicks off the holiday season with samplings from 10 wineries from the Chesapeake Bay Wine Trail, plus craft breweries, tastings from local restaurants, live music  plus a variety of artisans. Like the wineries, local restaurants will be offering tastes of area cuisine, as well as the option to purchase some of our local favorites. Enjoy oysters prepared a variety of ways. Tour vintage oyster "buy boats" docked at the Tides Inn for the weekend and hear from their captains what life was like on the Chesapeake Bay when these boats brought oysters to market! The Tides Inn offers deluxe accommodations for Virginia weekend getaways in a spectacular waterfront setting. Add overnight accommodations and you’ve got a great weekend.
