High alcohol and high acid generally don't go together in a white wine. This particular vintage is 100% barrel fermented dry in French oak. Creamy and rich to satisfy with enough acid and fruit to keep it focused

A densely concentrated wine with clean aromatics of black fruit, violet and nutmeg. The black fruit continues through to the finish with smoke and oak.

Kept clean with a cold fermentation and natural yeast, this wine is refreshing but still holds the varietal depth of Chardonnay with great minerality. 

A sweet golden wine named for our sweet golden (retriever) dog. A Vidal Blanc-Traminette blend, it is sweetened to 3% residual sugar. 

This unfiltered, medium-bodied wine starts off with big fruity (black cherry) notes on the nose and palate and ends dry. A great pairing for lamb and hearty pasta dishes.

Fermented mostly in acacia barrels which is less sweet than oak and helps lighten the weighty-ness of Viognier. This vintage is beautifully dense fruit flavors and finishes dry. one of our best wines to go with a meal. 

These particular grapes came from our first harvest from the newer vines on the property to the east. After fermentation, the wine stayed on the heavy lees (finished yeast) for 9 months, with monthly stirring of the barrels. This resulted in a wonderful, creamy Chardonnay. 

This Petit Verdot is especially made for small feet. 

Muse Vineyards, founded in 2005, in the historic and scenic Shenandoah Valley produces estate wines with all grapes grown on site from the highest quality French certified clones. We are producing a bordeaux-style blend of cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, merlot, malbec and petit verdot as well as single varietals. We also have chardonnay and red and white Rhone style wines such as viognier, marsanne, roussanne, grenache and syrah. In 2015, we won the Governor's Award for our 2009 Clio. The vineyard site has been continuously farmed since 1792 and the historic house dates from the same year.
