Stratford Hall Wine and Oyster Festival

Virginia Wine, Beer and Oysters

If you love the combination of great wines, delicious local seafood and fine crafts and artisans, mark your calendar for September 21 and 22! This popular event features wines from Virginia wineries and oysters from Chesapeake Bay and Tidewater oyster growers.

Some of the wineries exhibiting this year include:

This year’s festival will have it all – fun and history! There will be FREE admission to the Great House, Treakle’s train barrel rides, and Westmoreland County Miniature Farm Animals! There will be car shows on both Saturday (Mustang Car Clubs) and Sunday (Memory Lane Car Club).

Come and learn from the experts of TOGA, Tidewater Oyster Gardener’s Association! Watch the Virginia State Champion Oyster Shuckers demonstrate their skill, acquire new recipes through cooking demonstrations and classes, plus learn the latest oyster trends through educational activities right on the Oval.

Live music will be provided each day by a line-up of local bands and solo musicians. Transportation will be provided from the parking lots by Bay Transit and Trolley.

Not a fan of wine? This year’s festival will also feature breweries from Fredericksburg and the Northern Neck!
