Central Virginia is the central Piedmont area of the state. It is home to the Monticello AVA where Thomas Jefferson attempted to make wine at his home Monticello in the 1770s. Jefferson spent years trying to grown European varietals. The Monticello AVA is the oldest in Virginia, formed in 1984 and encompassing the area around Charlottesville.

Our 2020 Village is approachable and easy to drink 100% Cabernet Sauvignon with a nose that features aromas of strawberry, cherry, vanilla bean, tobacco, prune, camphor, and black pepper. 

2019 Revalation Village

Cabernet Sauvignon from the Hebron Valley

100% Cabernet Sauvignon - A very pleasing wine! Color: beautiful dusky red with a hint of purple and glints of terracotta Nose: round nose with aromas of cherry, plum, ripe peppers, mint, walnut, hazelnut, truffle, and graphite. Mouth: beautiful attack, long mouthfeel, full volume, mature tannins, pleasant and soft with a note of aniseed on the finish.

2021 Revalation Vineyards Merlot

Fruity and unctuous

Our 2021 Merlot is well balanced with an aromatic finish. Strawberries and plums predominate the palate with vanilla notes. Featuring aromas of red currant, tobacco, caramel,  elderberry, and plum. Available now in our Red Wine Flight or by the bottle in the tasting room.
