About Bennie Dodd
Bennie Dodd, born and raised in Nelson County Virginia, started singing in the choir when he was young and it didn’t take long before he was noticed for his voice. Before long he was playing music with his friends in the garage. Today over 35 years later, he is still performing in the local club scene and has become a music icon in the central Virginia area, and he says quite often that he owes his success to the University of Virginia community where he has played for many years for about any function you can imagine. We recently stumbled on a combination of players that meshed in a way that only my come once in a lifetime.
