About Christopher Hammock

I picked up music at an early age simply because it felt good and I loved what could be accomplished through sound. It felt like painting! Over the years of working and writing, I developed a mellow acoustic sound, attempting to create the perfect blend of soothing chords and words that might help folks breathe a bit easier, helping the work-day to melt away, and to just be in the moment, at ease and smiling. My music has a feel that has been likened to the singer-songwriters of the 70’s & 80’s (Kenny Loggins, James Taylor & Nick Drake). My goal is simply to help folks feel a bit better by the end of a set, even if they were already on cloud nine when they came through the door!
