About the film:

“A cinematic journey through one of America’s most iconic landscapes, Shenandoah is produced by Orange Frame Productions, presented and co-produced by VPM, with the cooperation of Shenandoah National Park. Originally conceived as a short film for the park, the project evolved over five years of filming- with exclusive access to the most restricted areas -into a feature-length documentary. The film explores an ancient wilderness where geology, wildlife, and humanity drive constant change. With stunning cinematography, the film also explores the history of the park itself, chronicling how the physical landscape and its cultural impact has shifted over time.”

“Discover the majesty of Shenandoah, an ancient wilderness alive with constant change.”

“Nestled in the ancient Appalachians, this wilderness is alive- shaped by ongoing formations, migrations, and transformations. Dive into an ever-changing world of hidden caverns, and boundless forests. Here wildlife, geology, and humanity converge to sustain this extraordinary sanctuary.”
