30 minutes from downtown Richmond, and 35 minutes from Williamsburg, located just off Route 5 and the Capital Bike Trail, Upper Shirley Vineyards is ensconced in a rural wonderland. The estate boasts history and scenic beauty on an epic scale and an embarrassment of culinary riches—bottomland produce, fresh-caught seafood—and world-class wines made from our own estate-grown grapes. 

Our charming, French-style boutique winery is a reflection of who we are: timeless, intentional, and committed to a standard of quality reminiscent of a bygone era. For over 12 years, we’ve been handcrafting small-batch Virginia wines from hand-picked grapes, each bottle made with care, passion, and purpose.

Bluemont Vineyard was conceived in a love affair between agriculture and wine. Established in 2007, This small country winery is a natural extension of Great Country Farms (CSA) across the street. As a small-run winery, an average of 5000 carefully crafted cases of wine are produced each year.
