Open for private events only, Meriwether Springs Vineyard is one of the Charlottesville area’s newest winery and event center. Located a mile from the town of Ivy and minutes from the University of Virginia and downtown, Meriwether Springs is part of the original estate of the famed explorer, Meriwether Lewis.

The current Meriwether Springs Vineyard property features a spacious and well-appointed event center which includes two separate event spaces, an exceptional tasting room, a full-service caterer’s kitchen, and a bridal loft. The 5,000 square feet of stunning open post and beam architecture allows for exclusive and nearly unlimited configurations for your personalized event. The event center and 40 acre secluded property is not only an unsurpassed venue for weddings but is also ideal for rehearsal dinners, bridal or groomsman parties, as well as corporate events and private parties.

The grounds of the estate include a five acre vineyard, prominent and visible from the porch and deck of the event center. The working vineyard is as functional as it is beautiful, with plantings of Petit Verdot, Chambourcin, Vidal Blanc, and Pinot Grigio.
