Kilaurwen Winery

Kilaurwen Winery

An artisan vineyard of vinifera grapes

Kilaurwen is a small, intergenerational artisan winery with 10 acres of vinifera grapes. The oldest are in their 7th decade, the youngest in their teens. Wine growers for top-tier Virginia wineries since 1994. You'll find them nestled in the eastern slope Blue Ridge foothills with a beautiful south facing slope at 600 to 800 feet above sea level. They have mature vines and a well-ventilated site with a gorgeous mountain view.

Kilaurwen Winery, LLC never aspires to be the biggest VA farm winery. A few bottles of great wines to share with customers and hopefully, eventual friends is their goal.  "We're in the wine business for the wine, not the business."  They seek to price their creations to cover the costs of production plus a modest margin to be able to repeat the process year-to-year.
