Ingleside Vineyards Wins Six Medals at the 2025 Atlantic Seaboard Wine Competition

Six wines entered. Six medals across styles.

Oak Grove’s Ingleside Vineyards is celebrating a standout performance at the 2025 Atlantic Seaboard Wine Competition. The winery entered six wines and earned a medal for each one. The results span crisp whites, a classic Virginia red, a winery-favorite dessert style and a dry rosé, showing breadth as well as consistency.

  • Silver October Harvest NV

About the Winning Wines

Petit Manseng 2024. An expressive white with tropical and floral aromatics. The 2024 bottling shows a gently sweet finish that is lifted by bright acidity, making it a versatile companion to salty cheeses or fruit desserts.

Petit Verdot 2022. A structured Virginia red known for dark fruit and firm tannin when grown in warm vintages. The Gold medal underscores its polish and cellar potential with hearty dishes.

Albariño 2024. A limited production white noted by the winery as a tasting room and online exclusive. The Silver medal signals a zesty, seafood-friendly style that rewards serving well chilled.

October Harvest NV. A late harvest, sweet finish white with ripe stone fruit aromas. It is a natural fit for cheesecake, baked pears or a simple plate of blue cheese.

Pinot Grigio 2024. A bright, easygoing white that shines with salads, shellfish and light pasta dishes.

Petit Verdot Rosé 2023. A dry, medium-bodied rosé made from Petit Verdot. Expect red berry lift and refreshing acidity for charcuterie and grilled poultry.

Why These Medals Matter

The Atlantic Seaboard Wine Association competition is the largest judging focused solely on East Coast wines. It draws professional judges from across the country and is held in late summer. Medals from this stage offer a clear snapshot of regional quality to consumers planning holiday tables and gift lists.

Holiday-Ready Pairing Ideas

  • Albariño 2024 with citrus-marinated shrimp, oysters or a simple lemon herb roast chicken.
  • October Harvest NV with cheesecake, baked pears or a dark chocolate tart for a sweet-meets-bitter contrast.
  • Petit Verdot 2022 with rosemary beef tenderloin or mushroom and lentil roast for a savory match.
