Join us at Narmada Winery as we unveil our new 'LOVE' sign!

Narmada Winery, a boutique vineyard and winery in Amissville, Virginia, will be installing and unveiling their new “LOVE” sign during the month of August.

The sign is being installed to honor 50 years of the “Virginia is for Lovers” campaign by the VA Tourism Board. “This campaign has driven a lot of tourism to thousands of parks and businesses over the last half-century, including to wineries,” says Sudha Patil, owner and winemaker. “Our sign is one of hundreds all over the state that show how passionate Virginians are about Virginia.”

More than anything, Sudha expresses her gratefulness to those that made this sign a reality. “The VA Tourism Board has been a wonderful promoter to this campaign,” she says. “They are also giving us a grant to help with the cost of the sign. I want to thank Brian Edwards and his company ‘Sky’s the Limit Construction, LLC,’ for building the sign and installing it. Our Wine Club member, Patty Rice, designed many of the paintings that are incorporated into the artwork on the sign. I am also thankful for John Kiernan and his company Blue Line Studios for painting the sign with Patty’s designs. Golden Rule Builders has also been a great supporter of the project.”

The sign will be officially unveiled at a ribbon cutting on Friday, August 23rd. “Community is very important to us,” Sudha continues. “That is where all of this LOVE comes from!” The event will be held at noon, and light refreshments will be served.
