The Socrates Project- Poisonous Plants in Virginia.

At DuCard Vineyards

The Socrates Project- Poisonous Plants in Virginia. Each year hundreds of cases of exposure to poisonous plants are reported in VA. Madison resident Alfred Goossens, project leader for the Socrates Project, will discuss some of the many poisonous plants found in VA including what they look like, what parts of the plant are poisonous, and symptoms of exposure. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about these plants and how to identify them to avoid exposure to yourself or others. Please email Marty (marty@ducardvineyards.com) to reserve your spot as space is limited. The first 10 registrants will receive a free glass of wine! No charge.
