The newly released Black Bear, is a red wine blend that is a complement to our Shenandoah white wine. Both celebrate the treasure that is our National Park that borders us just out our back lawns.

From our Estate Vineyard, with an intense garnet color and earthy aromas of currant, plums, and fennel, the 2023 Cabernet Franc Vintner Reserve is robust and smooth. Expressions of clove, black cherry, and pink peppercorn with classic chalky tannins offer a welcoming first impression.

Grown at our Whetstone Run vineyard, this Cabernet Franc was selected for its depth in color, welcoming mouth feel, well-defined structure. Pairs with French Onion Soup and hearty seasonal stews.

Sold Out. The bright and beautiful characteristics of pure Cabernet Franc shine in this Bourgueil-style wine. Fermented and aged primarily in stainless steel, this wine exhibits a floral nose, red fruits, and fresh sweet herbs.

A welcoming bouquet and well-structured palate highlight this premium red wine blend with notes of sweet spices, herbal scents, and dark fruit with lingering tannins on the finish. This exquisite wine is made only in the best growing seasons. 

The estate grown Petit Verdot exhibits notes of black plum, coffee, and tobacco with a lingering velvety mouthfeel. Pairs well with lamb.
