Cardamon Family Vineyards

Micro Winery

We are a family owned micro-winery making small batch, handcrafted Virginia wines. Passion drives us and drives our lives.

After retiring from the Navy SEALS,  and graduating from the California Culinary Academy, my wife Ana and I created Cardamon Family Vineyards as an expression of our passions for life, food, and wine.

In 2008, we moved from California to Virginia and planted 400 vines in our front yard, which culminated in the creation of Cardamon Family Vineyards. Our grapes are grown on site or sourced locally, picked by hand, crushed and pressed in a basket press, and most are fermented and/or aged in oak. We pride ourselves in creating small batches, where we can have fun and maximize the fruit character, without compromising the vintage.

All handcrafted wines from our micro-winery embody a passion for “New World Wines in an Old World Style".
