Formerly Cooper Vineyards

Located in Louisa County, midway between Richmond and Charlottesville, Virginia, Cooper Vineyards was licensed as the 53rd farm winery in July of 1999. In 2018 it changed it's name to Fifty Third Winery and Vineyards.

Nestled amongst rolling hills in a traditional farming community, our goal is to create quality Virginia wines that express the uniqueness of the terroir and grape varietal. 


Open 11 am-5 pm: Daily & year round
Friday Night Flights: Open from 5 pm-9pm, with live entertainment, wine flights, and food available
Saturday & Sunday: Complimentary live music during winery hours
Group Tasting Times: 8 or more people with reservations preferred, 12 pm, 2 pm, & 3 pm 
Well-behaved, leashed dogs welcome, fresh water bowls are available on outdoor patio and tasting room.
