Visit our gorgeous vineyard and winery bordering the eastern slope of Shenandoah National Park. We offer estate-grown wines with a friendly, knowledgeable staff providing a memorable and incomparable tasting experience. In the 2025 Virginia Governor's cup we have been awarded one of twelve spots in the Governor's Case for our 2023 Cabernet Franc Reserve. In addition we received gold medals for our 2022 Cabernet Franc Reserve, 2021 Triskele, and 2023 Cabernet Franc Reserve. Plan a visit to try our Gold Medal Flight!  Our new 2024 Rosé  has been named one of VinePair's top 30 Roses for 2025 and our Merlot named Top 20 for 2025! Founded in 2015, Valley Road Vineyard has already garnered a reputation for Great Wine, Great People, and Great Place. With a gold medal-winning, Petit Verdot in the Virginia Governor's Case in its first year, Valley Road has gone on to receive medals for its Viognier and Meritage varietals -- plus rave reviews from visitors for its blends, sparkling wines and rosé. Located at the north end of Route 151, just south of Route 250 in Albemarle County, Valley Road Vineyards serves as the gateway to the Nelson 151 corridor and its beautiful Blue Ridge vistas.

Muse Vineyards, founded in 2005, in the historic and scenic Shenandoah Valley produces estate wines with all grapes grown on site from the highest quality French certified clones. We are producing a bordeaux-style blend of cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, merlot, malbec and petit verdot as well as single varietals. We also have chardonnay and red and white Rhone style wines such as viognier, marsanne, roussanne, grenache and syrah. In 2015, we won the Governor's Award for our 2009 Clio. The vineyard site has been continuously farmed since 1792 and the historic house dates from the same year.

30 minutes from downtown Richmond, and 35 minutes from Williamsburg, located just off Route 5 and the Capital Bike Trail, Upper Shirley Vineyards is ensconced in a rural wonderland. The estate boasts history and scenic beauty on an epic scale and an embarrassment of culinary riches—bottomland produce, fresh-caught seafood—and world-class wines made from our own estate-grown grapes. 

Located in the western Shenandoah Valley, Bluestone Vineyard offers impressive views of the mountains and surrounding farmland. Enjoy the view of our hillside vineyard from our tasting room as you taste our wines and experience a little of the Valley's atmosphere and friendliness. We currently offer 26 wines including sweets, whites, reds, and reserves and a hard cider. 

Our Tasting Room & Taphouse brings a new dimension to Mount Ida Reserve’s time-honored tradition of hospitality. A warm, relaxed, yet refined atmosphere, created with the genuine care and comfort of our guests in mind. We are unique, in that we offer both onsite vineyards and a Brewery situated atop Mount Ida Reserve’s secluded 7,000 acre sanctuary, in the rolling hills of High Ridge.
