Magnolia Vineyards is spread across 27 acres, with 6 acres dedicated to grapevines, carefully cultivated to reflect the unique characteristics of Virginia’s soil and climate. Established in 2007, the vineyards have steadily grown, with vines reaching optimal maturity. The vineyards boast a diverse collection of grape varieties, including:
Chardonnay and Viognier – the winery’s flagship white varietals.
Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Merlot – robust reds that thrive in Virginia’s warm summers and crisp fall nights.
Each variety benefits from the vineyard’s location in the Shenandoah AVA (American Viticultural Area), where a combination of well-drained soil and a temperate climate creates ideal growing conditions. Alongside Tony is the vineyard manager, Mary Smith, whose extensive experience in viticulture has been instrumental in cultivating the thriving vineyards.
